The comprehensive victory handed Pooran the Player of the Match award and gave Trinbago a much-needed boost heading into the playoffs.

Barbados Royals Determined To Rebound And Keep Title Hopes Alive

For the Barbados Royals, the road to the Eliminator has been a mixed bag. Winning and losing five matches each, they landed in fourth place. Their recent form has left much to be desired, especially after a 30-run defeat at the hands of the Knight Riders in their last league fixture.

In that clash, the Royals elected to bowl first, hoping to exploit the tricky Providence surface. However, their plan went up in smoke as the Knight Riders posted 175/7.
