The Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025, which was suspended due to the border conflicts between India and Pakistan will resume on Saturday and the remainder of the matches will take place in six venues as the finale date has now been pushed to June 3, instead of May 25.
Why England players won't come back?
However, due to this disruption, many IPL sides have been affected with overseas players unwilling to come back to India. Some, due to fear, while others have international commitment. England team will play a white-ball series against West Indies, starting from May 29 and the home side, England will assemble on May 25 to prepare for the series.
As a result, several international stars from their team will miss the IPL matches which could affect the combination. Here is a list of English players likely to miss IPL matches.
