Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli have always been one of the most admired celebrity couples in India. Known for their strong partnership and grounded personalities, the couple often keeps their personal life private. However, a rare and intimate family video has surfaced online, leaving fans overwhelmed with affection.

The touching video was posted by a fan page shortly after Virat Kohli’s emotional announcement of his retirement from Test cricket. Following the announcement on May 12, Virat and Anushka were seen visiting Vrindavan to seek peace and spiritual solace during this new chapter in their lives.

The newly surfaced video offers a heartwarming glimpse into their life off the field. It shows Anushka carrying their baby son Akaay, while their daughter Vamika walks beside them, showering loving glances at her little brother. 

Dressed in a white frock, Vamika looks adorably playful and curious, her affection for baby Akaay lighting up the moment. Akaay, is dressed in a white tee and green pants. 

As the family arrives at what appears to be Anushka’s mother’s home, they are welcomed with warmth, and hugs Anushka’s mother is seen lovingly taking Akaay into her arms, clearly doting on her newest grandchild.

A Look Into Their Family Life

Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli tied the knot in December 2017 in an intimate ceremony in Tuscany, Italy, after years of dating. The couple welcomed their daughter, Vamika, on January 11, 2021, and recently welcomed their second child, a baby boy named Akaay, on February 15, 2024. 

Virat Kohli’s Sudden Test Retirement

While the Kohli family is currently embracing time together, fans are still coming to terms with Virat Kohli’s recent retirement from Test cricket. The star batter made the announcement via Instagram, just ahead of India’s upcoming tour of England. 

The timing of the announcement just days before team selection raised eyebrows and triggered speculation about whether the decision was entirely voluntary.

Virat Kohli has played 123 Test matches and made 8,195 runs including 28 centuries, is India’s fourth-highest run-scorer in the format. Despite stepping away from red-ball cricket, Kohli will be back on the pitch soon. The IPL 2025 is set to resume on May 17, with RCB facing KKR at M. Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bengaluru.
