It's funny how people demand random things from everyone on social media. Similarly, on Sunday morning, netizens went crazy as they desperately brought a request to Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) management just before the deadline for IPL retentions.
The man RCB fans dream about is KL Rahul, easily the most consistent performer with the bat in the IPL in the last few years. The 31-year-old, who had a sizzling World Cup campaign as well, is Lucknow Super Giants’ (LSG) captain. He previously played for RCB for quite some time, and now many fans want him to be back where he belonged, in his native state of Karnataka’s very own franchise.
The demand seemed unrealistic, but nothing is impossible in reality after what is about to officially happen with Hardik Pandya. The talismanic all-rounder, who led Gujarat Titans (GT) to a scintillating IPL title win in his debut season, is set to return to Mumbai Indians (MI) in an all-cash deal by today. And since Hardik can go to MI, why can not Rahul go to RCB?
