[Watch] Mohammed Shami Rescues Car Accident Victim Near Nainital

After unleashing his wrath on opposition line-ups with the ball throughout the ICC World Cup 2023, fiery Indian pacer Mohammed Shami exhibited his great kindness and helpful attitude as he made sure a car accident victim was rescued and escaped a potential burnout near Nainital.

Shami, who was travelling to the popular tourist destination up north in India to relax after undergoing the extensive physical and mental grind during the home World Cup, took time out to save the victim once he saw an accident occur on the side of the road. 


A clip revealed by the experienced quick on his Instagram handle on Saturday (November 25) had him helping the survivor after seeing his car collapse between the bushes. Shami captioned how he made sure the victim got timely help and survived after his car fell in front of the Indian cricketer's vehicle. 

Shami Helps Rescue Car Accident Victim In Nainital 

"He’s so lucky god gave him 2nd life, his car fell down from the hill road near Nanital just in front of my car. We took him out very safely," Shami wrote. 



After his on-field exploits, Shami's act of helping this car accident victim be safely rescued stole the hearts of cricket lovers once again. The veteran cricketer has previously also emerged as a hero for the needy with his charity and good gestures for migrant workers during the Covid-19 pandemic. 

Shami is on holiday right now with his family, hoping to recharge his batteries following the high-octane World Cup campaign where he ended as India's numero uno wicket-taker after an astonishing 24 scalps in just seven outings.

Since the tournament ended in heartbreak for Indian players with a defeat in the final against Australia, a number of them are spending time with families and going on a break after being rested for the ongoing five-match T20I series versus the arch-rivals.
