KL Rahul notched up his tenth Test century with an elegant innings on Day 3 of the third Test against England at Lord’s. MI New York knocked out Texas Super Kings to qualify for the final of the MLC 2025 season. In other news, Cricket Australia has drawn out Australia’s squad for the T20I series in the West Indies.

KL Rahul Ton And Chris Woakes Clean-Up Job Headline Day 3

India failed to go past England, with both teams finding themselves at a 387-run deadlock at the halfway stage of the innings. KL Rahul top-scored for the visitors with 100 runs off 177 balls, while Ravindra Jadeja and Rishabh Pant unleashed dazzling 70s. For England, Chris Woakes mopped up the Indian tail with two quick wickets to claim figures of 3-84. Jofra Archer and Ben Stokes also picked up a wicket each on Day 3.

With no lead or deficit in the bank, England reached 2-0 in the lone over they faced off Jasprit Bumrah before stumps.

Pooran, Pollard Storm MI New York Into MLC 2025 Final

MI New York rushed into the final of the MLC 2025 season after defeating Texas Super Kings in the second qualifier by seven wickets in 19 overs in Dallas. Fast bowler Tristan Luus picked up three wickets to restrict the Super Kings to 166-5 from 20 overs, even though captain Faf du Plessis and number six Akeal Hosein bludgeoned swift half-centuries in the innings.

Chasing 167, opener Monank Patel composed a crafty 49 off 39, while Nicholas Pooran blasted an unbeaten 52* from 36 balls. Kieron Pollard eventually sealed the deal for MI New York through his whirlwind 47* off just 22 deliveries.

Ayush Mhatre Tons Up For India Under-19 Vs ENG

India Under-19 captain and young CSK star Ayush Mhatre scored a fiery century with his 102-run knock from just 115 balls against England Under-19 on Day 1 of the unofficial Youth Test in Beckenham. Vihaan Malhotra at number three, and middle-order batters Abhigyan Kundu and Rahul Kumar also cracked blistering half-centuries in the innings. Their collective batting effort pushed India Under-19 past the 400-run within just the first 80 overs of the day.

McGurk, Bartlett In; Hazlewood Out Of AUS T20I Tour Of WI

Josh Hazlewood has been ruled out of Australia’s squad for the upcoming T20I series against the West Indies. Cricket Australia has called up young top-order batter Jake Fraser-McGurk and pace sensation Xavier Bartlett into the T20I line-up instead. Mitchell Marsh will lead the Australian team in the five T20Is between July 20 and July 28, and he will be accompanied with the likes of senior pros like Glenn Maxwell, Adam Zampa as well as with fellow T20 stars like Josh Inglis, Tim David and Cameron Green.

Bulgaria Gun Down 244, In 14.2 Overs

The Bulgaria cricket team pulled off the fourth highest successful run-chase, and their second highest, in the history of T20Is. Manan Bashir at number four blasted 70 from just 21 balls as Bulgaria registered their second win of the ongoing Bulgaria Tri-Nation T20I Series 2025 in Sofia. Jakob Gul hogged the limelight with the ball for Bulgaria, picking up figures of 4-37.
