KL Rahul completed his century while Ravindra Jadeja and Rishabh Pant notched up their fifties on Day 3 of the third Test against England. Chris Woakes broke through for the hosts towards the closing stages of the day as both teams found themselves at a 387-run stalemate at the halfway stage of the match.

KL Rahul Ton And Jadeja, Pant Fifties Push India To 387
Overnight Indian batters KL Rahul and Rishabh Pant reached their respective century and half-century respectively, with the latter falling at the brink of lunch break to a Ben Stokes run out for 74. Rahul made his exit a couple of overs later after nicking one towards Harry Brook at slip off Shoaib Bashir. Ravindra Jadeja led India’s counterattacking recovery with 72 runs, sharing a fifty-plus stand with Nitish Kumar Reddy (30).
While Jadeja’s gritty effort took India to 376-6 at one stage, the visitors lost their final four wickets for just 11 runs to get bowled out for 387 in 119.2 overs. For England, Chris Woakes induced India’s lower-order collapse with two wickets to complete his three for the innings. Jofra Archer and Ben Stokes also picked up two wickets each for England.
England Openers Survive Bumrah’s One-Over Burst
With first innings ending in a 387-run deadlock between the two sides, England openers Zak Crawley and Ben Duckett safely negotiated Jasprit Bumrah’s sole over of the day before stumps on Day 3 to reach 2-0.
