Preparations for IPL 2025 are in full swing. The franchises are awaiting BCCI's decision on the retention list to start finalising their list for the coming season. However, there are reports that the board has asked the teams to finalise their retention list by November 15.

Ahead of the enthralling season, there are rumours circulating online regarding key players looking to shift bases. KL Rahul is a name that has popped up again and again as reports suggest that he is looking to trade himself to RCB and leave Lucknow Super Giants.

In the latest events, Rahul has broken his silence on the matter as a video is spreading like fire on the internet where a fan asks KL about his possible move to RCB, and the star right-hand batter replies, 'Let's Hope So.'

“I am a die-hard RCB fan. I have been following RCB for a very long, and you playing past in RCB, and now definitely the rumours; I won’t say anything. But yeah, I am just wishing and praying that you come into RCB and rock here,” the fan said, to which KL replied by saying, “Let’s hope so.”

KL Rahul's Fall-Out With LSG Owner

After LSG's embarrassing defeat against Sunrisers Hyderabad in IPL 2024 where Travis Head and Abhishek Sharma wreaked havoc and chased down 167 runs in 9.4 overs, LSG owner Sanjiv Goenka publically scoled KL Rahul, following which things went south between them.

However, recently, the two met at Goenka's residence, and possibly talked about the upcoming season. Goenka referred to Rahul as a 'family', but did not clear the air about KL Rahul's possible move to RCB.

KL Rahul's First Stint With RCB

It is worth noting that KL Rahul started his IPL career with Royal Challengers Bengaluru in 2013 and represented the three-times finalists for four seasons before moving to SRH.
