Three brothers are set to play together for the Islamabad United franchise in next year's Pakistan Super League (PSL) 2024 season. After the United management had signed in Pakistan speedster Naseem Shah from the Quetta Gladiators, they roped in his younger brothers Hunain Shah and Ubaid Shah at the PSL 2024 player's draft on December 13.

Islamabad United's Platinum recruit Naseem Shah will be joined by his younger brothers Hunain and Ubaid in the franchise in next year's PSL 2024 season.

The speedster is currently out of action owing to injury and aims to attain full recovery to make a comeback in time for PSL 2024 and the subsequent T20 World Cup 2024 in the Caribbean.

Hunain Shah, aged 19, recently impressed one and all while playing for Lahore Region Blues at the Pakistan National T20 Cup 2023.

On the other hand, Ubaid Shah delivered successive match-winning spells against India and Afghanistan U19 at the Under-19 Asia Cup 2023 in Dubai. He is widely tipped to make it into Pakistan's Under-19 squad for next year's Under-19 World Cup 2024.

Boosted by the trade of Naseem Shah and the acquiring of his talented young brothers, here is a look at Islamabad United's entire squad after the PSL 2024 player's draft on December 13:

Islamabad United: Jordan Cox, Naseem Shah, Shadab Khan, Tymal Mills, Azam Khan, Imad Wasim, Faheem Ashraf, Alex Hales, Colin Munro, Matthew Forde, Salman Ali Agha, Qasim Akram, Shahab Khan, Rumman Raees, Hunain Shah, Ubaid Shah, Shamyl Hussain, and Tom Curran

Naseem Shah last took the field for Pakistan back in September during the 2023 Asia Cup in Colombo.

During his side's high-profile match against arch-rivals India, the 20-year-old slumped to a shoulder injury, which subsequently ruled him out of Pakistan's squads for the 2023 World Cup in India as well as from the three-match Test series against Australia' Down Under'.
