PSL 9 Draft | Here's The Updated Squad Of All Six Franchises

All six Pakistan Super League (PSL) franchises made several additions to their squads, mere days after announcing their list of all retentions for the forthcoming 2024 season. On December 13 at Lahore’s National Cricket Academy, i.e., during the PSL 2024 player’s draft event, several franchises roped in fresh faces, while some appointed new skippers, all in preparation for the ninth edition of the tournament.

After Lahore Qalandars retained captain Shaheen Afridi and fellow senior speedster Haris Rauf, they boosted their line-up with overseas stars Shai Hope and Dan Lawrence at the PSL 2024 player’s draft. The two cricketers will be joining Rashid Khan and Sikandar Raza as fellow as overseas imports in the defending champion’s club.

Lahore Qalandars: Fakhar Zaman, Rassie Van der Dussen, Shaheen Afridi, Sahibzada Farhan, Haris Rauf, David Wiese, Sikandar Raza, Abdullah Shafique, Zaman Khan, Imran Jr, Ahsan Hafeez Bhatti, Dan Lawrence, Mirza Tahir Baig, Rashid Khan, Syed Faridoun Mahmood, Jahandad Khan, Shai Hope, and Kamran Ghulam.

Islamabad United, boosted by the trade of Naseem Shah, further purchased the likes of Englishmen Tymal Mills and Tom Curran. Here is a look at the entire 18-player Islamabad United squad for PSL 2024 season:

T20 great Kieron Pollard, Daniel Sams and Pakistan all-rounder Mohammad Nawaz became the platinum draft picks for Karachi Kings, who will be joined by franchise’s newly-appointed skipper Shan Masood.
