IPL Auctions 2024 | Harry Brook Sold To Rishabh Pant's Delhi Capitals For 4 Crore

Harry Brook, the young sensation from England has been sold to Delhi Capitals in the IPL Auction 2024. He was left by Sunrisers Hyderabad ahead of the Auctions who bought him for a whopping price of 13.25 crore last time around. The Englishman though had a mediocre season, and that seems to have brought down his stocks considerably this season.
Brook had a base price of 2 crore and was in the first set of players. Delhi Capitals started the bidding but soon RR also decided to join the competition as they were interested in the Brook last time around too. It seemed that RR had pocketed him for 3.8 crore at one point in time, but DC decided to raise the level and finally got Brook for 4 crore.
DC ahead of the auctions let go most of their middle order that failed miserably last season and they are naturally on a mission to get some good reliable middle order batter in this season. They went for Rovman Powell too, but could not get it as RR won that battle, but they will be happy to get Brook at 4 crore who can serve them for a long time.
