IPL 2025 Schedule: List Of Remaining Matches As Suspension Set To End

The wait is almost over as the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 suspension is set to be lifted and the tournament is likely to be re-started by 15-16th May onwards. The league was reaching its business end when it was suspended due to the conflicts between India and Pakistan at the border.

List of remaining IPL matches

However, if reports are to be believed, then IPL is likely to begin by this week with double headers taking place on most days. The final schedule of the remaining matches will be revealed soon, but here is a complete list of matches left as BCCI aims to complete the tournament by the end of this month.

Foreign players unlikely to be forced back

Amidst the tensed situation in India, the IPL is set to be resumed, but as per a report by RevSportz, foreign players won't be forced to come back. The franchises know about the current scenario in the nation and they won't urge the overseas stars to return and neither will they be punished.

“We will not push anyone and will leave it to them,” said the CEO of one of the IPL franchise. “Yes, this is a force majeure, an unforeseen event which is beyond anyone’s control," quoted by RevSportz.

In that scenario, many of the IPL sides might be affected since they heavily rely on the overseas stars to deliver the goods. The playoff scenario equation could also be changed if foreign players don't turn up.
