The IPL 2025 mega auction, to be staged in Saudi Arabia in November, is set to be the biggest IPL auction event in recent memory, at least as per fans and the experts. Fast bowlers, particularly India’s international pacemen are expected to evoke much interest among all bidding parties.
Here, we take a look at 10 Indian international fast bowlers who are set to go under the hammer, at a specific base price of Rs.2 crores.
10. Khaleel Ahmed
Indian fast bowler Khaleel Ahmed was among a slew of cricketers released by the Delhi Capitals franchise on the day of IPL 2025 retention announcement on October 31. With an experience of 114 T20 matches, including 57 in the IPL for teams like SRH and the Capitals; Ahmed’s expertise will surely be a talking point among franchise owners at the time of his IPL 2025 auction bid.
9. Deepak Chahar

CSK zealot Deepak Chahar was released by the franchise after spending six years with the ‘Yellow Brigade’. A three-time IPL winner for the CSK, Chahar has so far bagged 76 of his 77 wickets while donning their iconic yellow jersey. Apart from his bowling dexterity, Chahar also holds an exceptional batting strike rate of 137.36 as a lower-order slogger.
8. Avesh Khan
Avesh Khan was released by Rajasthan Royals ahead of the IPL 2025 mega auction, even though the former LSG quick picked up 19 wickets earlier this year during IPL 2024. Khan also holds a formidable track record in T20s overall, having snagged 142 wickets from 116 innings in his career so far.
7. Prasidh Krishna
Out-of-favour Indian pacer Prasidh Krishna has not played a single IPL game since 2022, considering he withdrew his name from IPL 2023 and 2024 owing to injuries. The Rajasthan Royals franchise eventually let go of the cricketer in lieu of the IPL 2025 mega auction. During his previous IPL stint, he picked up 19 wickets for the Royals back in 2022.
6. Mukesh Kumar
Mukesh Kumar was released by the Delhi Capitals management after spending two seasons with the franchise in 2023 and 2024, picking up 24 wickets in the process from 20 innings. The right-arm fast bowler will be aiming to write a fresh chapter to his IPL journey at the impending auction as he bids to make his all-format return for Team India.
5. Bhuvneshwar Kumar

Seasoned Indian speedster Bhuvneshwar Kumar and the SRH franchise parted ways from each other after 11 seasons of association. Bagging two Purple Caps in the process, Bhuvneshwar’s illustrious stint with the SRH came to a conclusion following his disastrous outing in IPL 2024, where he averaged 48.45 with the ball. Regardless, the 34-year-old remains one of the most experienced pace commodities in IPL history, having snared 181 wickets overall at an economy of just 7.56.
4. T Natarajan
Team India discard T Natarajan continues to flourish in IPL, even though he played the last of his seven international matches back in March 2021. The troublemaking pacer has collected 47 wickets for the SRH in his past three IPL seasons, including 18 from just 11 games of 2022, to emerge as one of their perennial standout performers with the ball. Natarajan’s ability of delivering yorkers will likely place him in good stead at the impending auction.

As of now, the speedster has not played a single competitive match since the conclusion of the 2023 World Cup, thus prompting the Titans management to let go of their premier paceman. A veteran of 110 IPL matches. Shami’s bidding at the IPL 2025 auction is expected to generate much interest among all franchises.
2. Arshdeep Singh
Punjab Kings loyalist Arshdeep Singh was released by the franchise mere months after he came up with a T20 World Cup winning performance for Team India. So far in his IPL career, he has picked up 76 wickets from 65 games, all for the Punjab Kings, and he has the tendency of troubling even the biggest of power-hitters of the game in the death overs.
