The tournament kicks off on Thursday, October 3, 2024, in Sharjah with a clash between Bangladesh Women and Scotland Women. India Women, led by the experienced Harmanpreet Kaur, have been placed in Group A alongside Australia Women, New Zealand Women, Pakistan Women, and Sri Lanka Women.
The Women in Blue will fine-tune their preparations with two important warm-up matches ahead of the group-stage clashes. Their first match will be against the West Indies Women on Sunday, September 29. Following that, India will face South African women on Tuesday, October 1.
