The Young Indian T20I squad is gearing up for their tour of Zimbabwe, scheduled to depart on July 1. The 15-member team will gather in Mumbai following the conclusion of the High-Performance Camp at the National Cricket Academy (NCA) in Bengaluru today, June 25.

With the camp concluded, several players have moved on to other commitments. Some players have gone to Chennai to participate in the ongoing first-division league, while others are expected to return home on Tuesday.

Notably, Riyan Parag and Dhruv Jurel, who are part of the T20I squad, have checked out of the NCA over the weekend and will spend close to a week at the Rajasthan Royals’ high-performance center in Talegaon.

The travel plans for Yashasvi Jaiswal, Sanju Samson, Rinku Singh, and Khaleel Ahmed will be finalized after India’s T20 World Cup campaign.

If the team reaches the final on June 29, these players will travel directly from the West Indies to Zimbabwe. Meanwhile, captain Shubman Gill, who has not returned to India yet, is expected to join the squad directly in Zimbabwe unless there are any last-minute changes.

The young-looking Indian team, led by Shubman Gill, will play five T20I matches in Harare on July 6, 7, 10, 13, and 14.

VVS Laxman, head of the NCA, will travel with the squad as the interim head coach, accompanied by the NCA support staff.
