Indian star batter Shubman Gill was spotted at the USA watching the Brazil vs Costa Rica Copa America game on Tuesday. Gill, accompanied by his friend Karan Aujla, attended the match at SoFi Stadium in California.
While one of the most entertaining games of the T20 World Cup was taking place, where Afghanistan beat Bangladesh to qualify for the semi-finals, Indian reserve player Shubman Gill was spotted enjoying football action in the USA. Gill posted watching the football game with his friend Arjun in his Instagram account.
Shubman Gill was not selected for India's main squad for the T20 World Cup. Gill, along with Rinku Singh, is one of India's reserve players for the tournament. However, the former was later released from the Indian contingent alongside Avesh Khan.

At the same time, Shubman Gill was selected as the captain of the young Indian side visiting Zimbabwe for a series of five T20Is. Senior Indian players playing the world cup has been excluded from the squad.
