In a beautiful gesture to celebrate India's T20 victory, farmers in Ahmednagar planted saplings named after the players. The Samruddh Shetkari Vikas Gat made this innovative initiative possible.

Additionally, the farmers dedicated a sapling in honor of the tournament trophy and hoisted the national flag to commemorate India's win.

India won the T20 World Cup after 17 years, marking a significant moment as legends like Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli retired following the victory. This win came at a crucial time, as India was eager for a major win after the disappointing 2023 ODI World Cup final.

Similarly, in Argentina, after Messi won the World Cup, cornfields were planted in the shape of his face to celebrate the victory. However, the initiative in India took a different form.

At the Zilla Parishad Primary School in Sarola Kasar, saplings were planted in the names of all players in the Indian squad to honor their achievement.

Players like Yashasvi Jaiswal, Shivam Dube, and Sanju Samson from the World Cup squad have been replaced with Sai Sudharsan, Jitesh Sharma, and Harshit Rana for the first two T20 matches of the upcoming India vs. Zimbabwe five-match series.
