The T20 World Cup 2024 witnessed a nail-biting finish as Namibia edged past Oman in a thrilling encounter that went down to the wire at the Kensington Oval in Barbados. 

Namibia's decision to bowl first after winning the toss paid off handsomely. They managed to restrict Oman to a modest total of 109 runs in 19.4 overs. 

Ruben Trumpelmann was the standout bowler for Namibia, as he delivered a stellar performance with figures of 4/21 in his four overs. David Wiese also made a significant impact, claiming 3 wickets for 28 runs in 3.4 overs. 

Oman's batting struggled against Namibia's disciplined bowling attack. Khalid Kail was the lone warrior for Oman, scoring a gritty 34 runs off 39 balls. 

Chasing a target of 110, Namibia's wickets fell at regular intervals, making it a challenging chase. 

Jan Frylinck was the standout performer with the bat, as he scored a determined 45 off 48 balls. Despite his valiant effort, Namibia needed two runs off the final delivery to secure a win but managed only a single, which resulted in a tie and sent the match into a super over.
