Nassau County Police Commissioner, Patrick Ryder has ensured the Indian team's security in New York after ISIS' threats of attacking the India-Pakistan clash on June 9 at Nassau International Stadium, putting no restrictions on the movements of Indian players and staff.

Recently, ISIS-K issued a threat calling a 'Lone-Wolf' to attack the India v Pakistan match in New York, putting the city on a high alert. However, Ryder, the police commissioner has put no limitations on the Indian team, allowing them to roam freely while calling Nassau County the safest place to be in.

Lone Wolves are the fanatics and members of ISIS who act on an independent level on the cues of the organization. Following the threat, the New York governor, Kathy Hochul herself has addressed the issue through a tweet, assuring complete security of the players by beefing up the security for the game.
