Former South Africa skipper Faf du Plessis is set to add another chapter to his global T20 Leagues journey. After shining in leagues like the Indian Premier League (IPL), Pakistan Super League (PSL), SA20 League, and many more, the right-handed batter has signed up for another T20 League.

Faf du Plessis signs up for Nepal Premier League 2025

Faf du Plessis has given his fans a reason to celebrate, especially those in Nepal. The 41-year-old has signed up for the upcoming Nepal Premier League 2025. It’s an excellent moment for Nepal cricket to have someone like du Plessis in their T20 League, which can help them grow more in the world of franchise leagues.

As du Plessis has signed up for the league, Biratnagar Kings secured his services for the upcoming edition. The auction took place on August 9, and many other star players will also feature in the league. It will be an excellent opportunity for young cricketers in Nepal to learn from an experienced player like du Plessis.

Nepal Premier League 2nd Edition

The Nepal Premier League will enter its second edition this year, scheduled to take place from November 17 to December 13, 2025. Following a successful inaugural season last year, the league returns with more exciting plays and star players. Another T20 star, Rashid Khan, will also feature in the league and will play for the Kathmandu Gorkhas.

Janakpur Bolts claimed the title last year and will aim to defend it this year. However, the inclusion of du Plessis in Biratnagar’s squad makes them a strong contender to lift the title this year. The right-handed batter was also decent during his appearance in this year’s Indian Premier League edition, playing for the Delhi Capitals. Biratnagar Kings will be expecting the same performance from him when he dons their jersey this year.
