The Indian Women's team is clashing against Australia in the ongoing ICC Women's ODI World Cup 2025 semi-final two at the Dr DY Patil Sports Academy, Navi Mumbai. The match is going to be a thrilling contest since India are given a target of 339 runs. Moreover, Phoebe Litchfield slammed a century in the first innings, helping Australia post a solid target. Meanwhile, Australia's men's team pacer Mitchell Starc stole the show as he was spotted in Navi Mumbai.

Mitchell Starc extends support to Australia and Alyssa Healy

Australia's star pacer Mitchell Starc leaves no stone unturned to support his wife Alyssa Healy whenever he is not playing cricket. He is always present during Australia's knockout matches to back the team and watch his wife play. The sight of one of world cricket's premier fast bowlers showing up solely to support his wife and her team captured the true spirit of sporting camaraderie and love beyond boundaries.

Known for his fierce competitiveness on the field, Starc displayed a softer side as he watched the semi-final from the stands, applauding the Australian women's efforts. Fans quickly took to social media to appreciate Starc for being a "husband goal" and for promoting women's cricket through his presence alone.

Litchfield and Perry anchor Australia's innings with composed partnership

While Healy slammed a century in the previous match against India, this time she was dismissed early on just five runs. Despite that, Australia have managed to get past the 250-run mark thanks to Litchfield (119) and a brilliant half-century by Ellyse Perry (77).

Australia have posted 338 runs on the board with the help of Ashleigh Gardner's half-century towards the end of the innings. For India to chase down a mammoth total, Smriti Mandana and Shefali Verma will have to step-up and form a solid partnership.
