Former Indian cricketer Dhawal Kulkarni recently inaugurated the Indonesia branch of Rohit Sharma's cricket academy, Crickingdom, in Jakarta.

The event marked another significant milestone for the global expansion of Crickingdom, which has been transforming cricket coaching worldwide.

Rohit Sharma's brother, Vishal Sharma, shared the exciting news on his official Instagram account, highlighting the growing reach of the academy.

Rohit Sharma has been instrumental in establishing Crickingdom as a premier cricket academy with a presence across India, Singapore, Japan, the USA, and Bangladesh. The Jakarta branch adds to the academy's impressive portfolio, following the recent inauguration of a new branch in Dallas last month.

Crickingdom's approach to cricket coaching is revolutionizing how the sport is taught and played.  In India alone, the academy operates at 35 locations, including major states such as Delhi NCR, Uttar Pradesh, Karnataka, and Maharashtra.

Dhawal Kulkarni, who retired from the Ranji Trophy earlier this year, was a fitting choice to inaugurate the Jakarta branch. The 35-year-old former pacer, who played 12 ODIs and two T20Is for India between 2014 and 2016, is set to return to the Mumbai dressing room for the upcoming season, bringing his wealth of experience back to the domestic circuit.

While Rohit Sharma was last seen leading India in the ODI series against Sri Lanka, where they faced a 2-0 series defeat.
