The T20 World Cup victory parade in Mumbai on 4th of July turned out to be one memorable affair with thousands flocking Mumbai streets and Wankhede Stadium to celebrate the much-awaited World Cup win and it seemed that the Maximum City - Mumbai has come to a standstill.

While the victory parade was an event to remember, there was a lot of hard work from different stakeholders that made it a successful event.

One of the important stakeholders were Mumbai Police as it was not easy to handle the law and order situation with such vast crowd assembling in one area, but as always Mumbai Police did a commendable job and Virat Kohli has now put out a post on his official X handle to appreciate the efforts of Police.

The star Indian cricketer acknowledged the dedication and service of the police and showed his respect for the efforts they put in for the smooth functioning of Victory parade.

After the victory parade, Virat Kohli was seen leaving for London to meet his wife Anushka Sharma and kids, and will now be seen only in Test and ODI format in Indian blue as he announced his retirement along with Rohit Sharma and Ravindra Jadeja from T20Is.
