Team India has finally arrived in Mumbai for the victory parade and as expected there were given hero's welcome at the airport. Each and every player was cheered by people gathered around, but one cheer was special, it was for Hardik Pandya, who walked out with trophy in style in a memorable redemption arc.

It was in the same city and the fans of same city that booed Hardik Pandya during IPL 2024 when he replaced Rohit Sharma as captain. The all-rounder was not only targeted for his cricketing skills, but was also criticised on personal front, and now coming out as hero with a World Cup trophy will be indeed a proud moment for him.

Hardik also did not leave any stones unturned in making a statement, and with his cool glasses on, flaunted the trophy with great swag.

Team India will now take a victory parade from Marine Drive to Wankhede Stadium in an open deck bus. It will be followed by the felicitation of the players in the Wankhede Stadium, and though rain has delayed proceedings, it is going to a memorable evening for all Indian cricket fans.
