Indian cricket fans have two moods; either they love their stars or outright dislike them. The sport is result-based, which makes the cricketers an easy target.

Of late, the discussion about Hardik Pandya moving from Gujarat Titans to Mumbai Indians is highly debated; however, one aspect of the all-rounder's life is even more debated - his injuries.

Pandya is making his comeback from an ankle injury, which resulted in the player missing the World Cup 2023, making fans and conspiracy theorists question the seriousness of the damage.

Hardik's former IPL and India teammate Mohammed Shami, who has been ruled out of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 after playing the World Cup with a lingering injury, ended up liking an 'X' post, which complimented the pacer but also included a rather headstrong remark about Pandya.

In the comment under Shami's post, a user named @Ctrlmemes_ used a racial slur against the all-rounder, which is highly condemnable.

The current GT pacer today updated his fans and well-wishers about his recent successful injury, putting his comeback time even later in the year.

Shami, 33, enjoyed great success under Pandya's captaincy during his time with the Titans, scalping 48 wickets in 33 IPL matches.

Meanwhile, Pandya, who will lead Mumbai Indians, has began his pre-season camp in Mumbai with other members of the franchise.

Interestingly, both teams will face off against each other in their respective opening IPL 2024 meeting on March 24 in Ahmedabad.
