‘Can't See...,’ Suryakumar Engages In A Funny Banter With IPL Teammate Tilak Varma

Team India and Mumbai Indians teammates Suryakumar Yadav and Tilak Varma recently engaged in light-hearted banter on Instagram, showcasing their camaraderie ahead of the IPL 2024 season. 

With the tournament set to kick off on March 22, Tilak, gearing up for his stint with Mumbai Indians, shared a gym workout video on his Instagram handle. 

Varma posted a workout video on his Instagram account with the caption, "Pushing my limits."

In response to Tilak's workout post, Suryakumar Yadav, known for his wit, teased his teammate with a humorous comment, "Can't see it." 

Tilak, displaying his own sense of humour, promptly retorted, "You will see it soon."

Although he last appeared for India during the T20I series against Afghanistan, batting at No. 3 and scoring 26 runs in the first game, Tilak's focus is now on his fitness regimen as he prepares for the IPL.

While Tilak maintains his fitness levels, Surya is currently undergoing rehabilitation to regain match fitness for IPL 2024. His return to competitive cricket is expected during the upcoming season, where he will play for the five-time champions.

MI enter the new season with a change in leadership, as Hardik Pandya takes over the captaincy from Rohit Sharma. 

Suryakumar and Tilak will be two of the most crucial players for the five-time IPL winners in the middle order. While Surya has been performing consistently for MI since 2018, Tilak has also been a revelation since bursting onto the IPL scene.
