Rajasthan Royals (RR)'s sensation Riyan Parag has made a successful return to the field after recovering from an arm injury. His resumption of training, as evidenced by a video of his net session, brings a sigh of relief to the Royals ahead of the Indian Premier League (IPL 2024).

Parag sustained the injury during a Ranji match against Bengal in Guwahati, where he encountered an upper right arm issue. Despite being advised two weeks of rest, the injury persisted, leading to his withdrawal from the remaining Ranji trophy matches.

Notably, he showed his class with the bat in the red-ball tournament with centuries against formidable opponents like Chhattisgarh and Kerala during the tournament.

Taking to social media, Parag shared a video captioned: "Back in the game.”

In the video, Parag can be seen middling the ball well in the nets. Following his injury, he promptly reported to the National Cricket Academy (NCA) in Bengaluru, where he is currently undergoing rehabilitation to regain full fitness in time for IPL 2024.

Parag has been in exceptional form in domestic cricket since the previous IPL season (IPL 2023), emerging as the highest run-scorer in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy with 510 runs. His contributions weren't limited to batting, as he also turned up with the ball, claiming 11 wickets.

Despite his domestic success, Parag is yet to achieve success in the IPL. As he gears up for IPL 2024, all eyes will be on him to replicate his stellar performances for RR.
