Indian fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah has expressed his readiness in featuring in the upcoming 2025 Men’s T20 Asia Cup in the UAE. The PCB has unveiled entire Pakistan squad for the tournament. Jasprit Bumrah Confirms His Availability For Asia Cup 2025

Indian fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah has reportedly confirmed his availability for the upcoming 2025 Men’s T20 Asia Cup in the UAE. As per the Indian Express, a BCCI source stated that Bumrah has informed the selectors that he will be available to play for Team India in the tournament. The source added that the selection committee will soon be taking a call to determine the fate of the senior paceman.

It is worth noting that Jasprit Bumrah has not played a single white-ball international match for Team India since winning the 2024 T20 World Cup in the West Indies last year in June.

USA Qualify For U19 World Cup 2026 In Zimbabwe

The USA Under-19 cricket team has qualified for the Under-19 Cricket World Cup 2026, becoming the 16th and final entrant to do so. Led by wicketkeeper-batsman Arjun Mahesh, USA dominated the Americas Qualifier in Georgia and sealed the qualification by remaining unbeaten in the competition.

The 2026 Under-19 Men’s Cricket World Cup, also the 16th edition of the tournament, will be co-hosted by Zimbabwe and Namibia in January and February next year. As many as 16 teams will be participating in the multi-nation event, with Australia Under-19 starting out as defending champions.

Babar, Rizwan Dropped; Fakhar Zaman In As PAK Name Asia Cup Squad

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has named Pakistan’s 17-player squad for the upcoming 2025 T20 Men’s Asia Cup in the UAE. Senior pros like Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan have once again been dropped from the Pakistani T20I line-up, while blistering top-order batter Fakhar Zaman has recovered from his hamstring injury to return to the team for the tournament.

All-rounder Agha Salman will continue to lead Pakistan and he will be accompanied by Haris Rauf, Shaheen Afridi and dashing youngster Saim Ayub.

Afghanistan To Host Bangladesh In UAE After Asia Cup 2025

The Afghanistan Cricket Board (ACB) has confirmed that the Afghanistan team will host Bangladesh in six white-ball games in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) later this year. As per the Daily Star, the two teams will be facing each other in a series of three ODIs and three T20Is between October 2 and October 14, i.e., shortly after the conclusion of the 2025 Men’s T20 Asia Cup. The series will also serve as a precursor for both sides ahead of the 2026 Men’s T20 World Cup in India and Sri Lanka.

Alyssa Healy Bludgeons 137* To Avoid Whitewash Against India A

Australia A Women decimated India A by nine wickets at the Ian Healy Oval in Brisbane, thus avoiding a 0-3 whitewash at the hands of the Radha Yadav-led visiting party. India A Women batted first and formed 216 upfront with Shafali Verma making 52 off 59 balls. For Australia, captain Tahlia McGrath bagged impressive figures of 3-40 from her eight overs.

In response, senior opener Alyssa Healy blasted 137* runs from just 85 balls at a strike rate of 161.17 with 23 boundaries and three huge sixes as Australia A Women gunned down India’s total in just 27.5 overs, i.e., with more than 22 overs to spare.
