Colin Munro electrocuted St Kitts and Nevis Patriots bowlers with a 120-run blitzkrieg from just 57 balls with 14 fours and six huge sixes. Opening the innings for the Trinbago Knight Riders franchise in his CPL return after a gap of two seasons, the dynamic New Zealand opener shared 114 runs together with fellow overseas star Alex Hales as his team charted a monumental 231-5 in 20 overs.
The innings marked Munro’s second CPL century and his sixth overall in T20 cricket, also the first by any batter this CPL 2025 season.

Colin Munro shaped a 50-ball century by launching St Kitts and Nevis Patriots fast bowler Naseem Shah for a huge six in the 17th over of the innings. Overall, the 38-year-old tonked 120 runs in just 57 balls with 14 fours and six huge sixes as the Trinbago Knight Riders mounted 231-5 in 20 overs.
Featuring in match number four of CPL 2025 and his team’s opening match of the season, Munro recorded the first-ever century of the tournament and the second of his own CPL career.
Munro’s opening partner and fellow overseas star Alex Hales also smeared 47 off 27, while Keacy Carty provided the death-overs impetus with eight-ball 16* as the Trinbago Knight Riders also recorded the first 200-plus team total of the CPL 2025 season.
For the St Kitts and Nevis Patriots, all six bowlers ended up leaking over 10 runs an over, with young Pakistani quick Naseem Shah finishing with figures of 0-40 in three overs. Jason Holder and Waqar Salamkheil managed to chip in with two wickets each in the high-scoring innings, albeit while conceding 87 runs combined in their spells.
