Senior SRH fast bowler Bhuvneshwar Kumar shared a special birthday wish for captain Pat Cummins. The Australian speedster, who turned 31 on May 8, received a significant video tribute from his SRH colleagues on the occasion as shared by the franchise on social media.

While Bhuvneshwar extended his heartfelt birthday wishes for Cummins, the Indian speedster also took this opportunity to joke about the cricketer’s stellar record in World Cup events.

Bhuvneshwar wishes Cummins exclusively for ‘IPL’

Bhuvneshwar Kumar wished Pat Cummins on the latter’s 31th birthday on May 8.

The Indian speedster also extended his best wishes for the SRH skipper specifically for the ongoing IPL 2024 season, thus taking a dig at his teammate’s stellar World Cup record in light of the impending T20 World Cup 2024 in the West Indies and USA.

In a video shared by SRH on social media, Bhuvneshwar Kumar jokingly said:“Wish you a very, very happy birthday. Wishing you all the best for IPL, and specifically just the IPL.”

While Pat Cummins is currently leading the SRH franchise in IPL 2024, he is also slated to represent the Australian cricket team in the forthcoming T20 World Cup 2024 in June.

Cummins was part of Australia’s victorious 2021 T20 World Cup winning unit under the leadership of Aaron Finch. Moreover, the fast bowler also led his nation to victories at the 2023 WTC final as well as the 2023 World Cup final, defeating favorites Team India on both occasions.

The ‘Men in Blue’ will once again head into the 2024 T20 World Cup in West Indies as one of the leading contenders to lift the title.

As of now, Cummins’ SRH have emerged as one of the favorites to find a place in the IPL 2024 playoffs. They have already secured seven wins out of their 12 league fixtures so far in the tournament.
