SRH sensation Abhishek Sharma has been in sensational form, as he reached his fifty in the 57th match of the IPL 2024 against Lucknow Super Giants at the iconic Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium on Wednesday (May 8).

He achieved his fifty with just 19 runs, thrashing Lucknow Super Giants' all-rounder Ayush Badoni with a six to mark his sensational third fifty in this tournament.

Earlier, Australian star batter Travis Head reached his fifty in just 16 balls, setting the stage for Abhishek Sharma to unleash his onslaught.

The pivotal moment occurred in the 7th over of the match when Ayush Badoni began his first over. Sharma demonstrated top-class batting, capitalizing on Badoni's delivery, sending it soaring into the stands for a massive six, measuring 96 meters.

With Lucknow Super Giants setting a respectable score of 165 for the home team to chase, it seemed the openers were poised to secure victory without losing any wickets.
