Travis Head of Sunrisers Hyderabad once again displayed his impeccable and aggressive batting prowess over Krishnappa Gowtham of LSG as he slammed the spinner for 22 runs in powerplay in 166 runs nominal chase.

LSG faced the mighty SRH earlier today in Hyderabad and struggled massively while batting first. While SRH didn't pick many wickets, Pat Cummins and Co's tight bowling with marginal economy kept LSG from racing to a big total as the pressure kept building.

However, courtesy of Nicholas Pooran and Ayush Badoni's 100-run partnership, LSG finished with 165 runs total, which seemed below par on Hyderabad's wicket.

That being said, LSG's worst fears came true as Travis Head, after a couple of rare failures in previous games, unleashed his inner beast to humiliate LSG bowlers from the word go.

KL Rahul's gamble to introduce spinner Krishnappa Gowtham in the powerplay backfired as Head mercilessly hammered him for 22 runs in the third over of the powerplay.

Travis Head got the party started with an authoritative six down the ground on the first delivery.

Gowtham was further put under pressure as Head whipped a classy shot over fine leg to fetch an additional four runs.

And the LSG spinner learned nothing from the carnage as he bowled yet another slot delivery, which Head smoked over his Head for another maximum.

Travis Head was set and predicted Gowtham's next move. He anticipated a tossed up delivery and got early into the position to smash a towering six and made a mockery of the LSG bowling lineup.

The Australian batter raced to his half-century in just 16 balls as his 150-run partnership with opening partner Abhishek Sharma completely pushed LSG out of the crucial game.
