Travis Head and Abhishek Sharma have been absolutely destructive in IPL 2024 and after a few quite games, they have come up with goods again, smashing 107 in the Powerplay. It included plenty of big overs and one of them was the 23-run over off Naveen-ul-Haq which included a six that took Head to a 16-ball fifty.

It was the fifth over of SRH's innings and Naveen-ul-Haq bowled it on a length on middle. Head cleared his front leg and slammed it way over wide long on for a biggie. The onslaught continued after fifty and that six was followed by two consecutive boundaries.

It is the third time that Travis Head has hit a fifty off 16 balls in IPL 2024 which shows how destructive he has been. Abhishek Sharma at the other end also got to his fifty in 19 balls and all LSG bowlers were taken apart with great disdain.

Earlier, LSG laboured their way to 165 after electing to bat first and at one point in time, they had just 66 on the board in the 12th over. Ayush Badoni and Pooran then combined to form a good partnership but it turned out to be too less in the end as SRH openers produced an absolute massacre.
