It seems like there is no stopping Vaibhav Suryavanshi as the Rajasthan Royals find and one of the best young talents of IPL continued to showcase his domination as he smacked a whirlwind 190 runs off just 90 balls to stamp his authority at the BCCI Centre of Excellence in Bengaluru.
As per a report by TOI's Gaurav Gupta, Suryavanshi took part in India's Under-19 camp in Bengaluru and he looked cut from a different cloth as the 14-year-old's explosive knock gave him confidence ahead of India's Under-19 tour of England.
When Suryavanshi caught everyone's eyes
The prodigal son came into the limelight last year when he scored a blistering century against Australia Under-19 in Chennai, aged 13 years and 188 days. His hundred came in just 58 balls, which is an Indian record.
This attracted everyone's attention towards him as several IPL franchises, mainly Delhi Capitals and Rajasthan Royals keeping an eye on him.
The day he became the youngest Crorepati
The youngster attended trials for both DC and RR but it was the Royals who snapped him at the IPL mega auction last year for INR 1.10 crore. This made him the youngest crorepati in the history of IPL as just at the age of 13 he received an IPL contract.
His exploits in the IPL
After not playing in the first few matches, Suryavanshi finally got his IPL debut and the opener never looked back as he became a household name. In the clash against Gujarat Titans Suryavanshi slammed a 35-ball IPL century and broke several records as he slammed the second fastest ton in IPL and also became the youngest centurion in the league.
In just 7 matches, the southpaw smacked 252 runs, with a strike rate of 206.55. His strike rate was also the highest by any batter in his debut IPL season.
