The young gun made his IPL debut in 2022, and since then he has been their best batter, carrying the hopes of their middle-order. However, there is a good chance that he might not be retained ahead of the next season.

As per reports, MI are planning to retain Hardik, Rohit, Suryakumar and Bumrah (no particular order), and that means there won't be any place for Tilak in the franchise.
