Gujarat Titans' IPL star Abhinav Manohar showcased his power-hitting skills in Shivamogga Lions' ongoing group-stage clash against Mangaluru Dragons in the Maharaja Trophy T20 tournament. Coming at number five, Manohar hammered 84 runs off just 34 deliveries, powering the Lions to a formidable total.

After winning the toss and opting to bowl, Mangaluru Dragons had a rollicking start, reducing the Lions to 47 for three in no time. 

While skipper Nihal Ullal was castled by a ripper, Rohit K, Dhruv Prabhakar and Rajvir Wadhwa failed to make an impact. 

Meanwhile, Abhinav Manohar stepped up to the occasion, dominating the Dragons right from the word go. 

He took them to the cleaners, smacking three fours and nine massive sixes for his belligerent 84*-run knock, which came in only 34 deliveries. 

The right-handed batter at his destructive best, as he brought up his fifty with a monstrous six. 

Apart from Manohar, Avinash D contributed 22 runs, as Shivamogga posted a respectable 175-run total on the board. 

In response, Mangaluru Dragons have got off to a flying start. As of writing, they were 40 for none in 3.4 overs, with Macneil Hadley Noronha and Rohan Patil batting on 20* and 19*, respectively.
