While the IPL is all set to resume on May 17, eyes are also on India's upcoming Test tour against England that starts on June 20. Now with IPL 2025 pushed back by a week, it has disturbed the scheme of things as Indian stars were set to depart for England in the last week of May. 

However, now since the league is set to end on June 3, it has cut the time for preparation for the Test series. Meanwhile, latest reports suggest India players are set to depart in batches. The first batch is set to depart on June 6 alongside India head coach Gautam Gambhir. Meanwhile, the first batch will include the players who have already crashed out of the league in group stages. Thus, this article will shed light on India players who can be a part of the first batch to leave for England. 

Before Looking at the players, lets look at how the squad could potentially look like in Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli's absence. 

Abhimanyu Easwaran, Shubman Gill, Yashasvi Jaiswal, B Sai Sudharsan, KL Rahul, Shreyas Iyer, Rishabh Pant, Ravindra Jadeja, Nitish Kumar Reddy, Karun Nair, Mohammed Siraj, Mohammed Shami, Akash Deep, Prasidh Krishna, Jasprit Bumrah, Kuldeep Yadav, Dhruv Jurel.

List Of Players Who Can Leave In The First Batch

Firstly, lets look at players who are not featuring in IPL and could be a part of India's squad. Thus, they would sure shot be a part of the first flight heading towards England. 

Abhimanyu Easwaran is one of the player, who is not featuring in the IPL and he could be picked up in the main squad for England tour. Further, rest of the stars are part in the IPL and lets look at the players whose teams have crashed out of the league in group stage.

Dhruv Jurel, Yashasvi Jaiswal : Rajasthan Royals

Talking about Rajasthan Royals, the Sanju Samson-led side have already crashed out of the race of playoffs as they have just 6 points in 11 matches. Thus, Dhruv Jurel and Yashasvi Jaiswal, who are part of RR squad and likely to be on the flight to England would depart on June 6 alongside Gautam Gambhir. 

Nitish Kumar Reddy, Mohammed Shami : SRH

For Sunrisers Hyderabad, they too have crashed out of the tournament and placed 8th on the table with 7 points in 11 matches. Meanwhile, Nitish Kumar Reddy, who did well during India's Australia tour is likely to be picked up for England squad. Meanwhile, Mohammed Shami's selection is under threat, but it is likely that the India seamer will get a go ahead for the upcoming series. 

Rishabh Pant, Akash Deep : LSG

LSG are one team who are still in contention for playoffs, but are placed 7th on the table with just 10 points in 11 matches. However, they are on the brink of an elimination and in that scenario, Pant and Akash Deep are set to fly to England on the flight on June 6.
