India will be playing Sri Lanka in the third and final match of the three match T20 series at the Pallekele International Cricket Stadium on July 30. This match will be played from 7 PM IST onwards.

India

The Indian team have already sealed the series by winning the first two matches of this series. It has been a successful start to the Gambhir-Surya era for the team. 

The Indian team has appeared to be well-balanced and dynamic during the series. Young batters like Yashasvi Jaiswal and Shubman Gill have looked good in the middle. They have taken the attack to the bowlers and the risks they have taken have often paid off. 

As far as the bowling is concerned, India have shown great nerve and composure in this trade. In the two matches in this series, India were on the back foot with the ball till the 14th or 15th over.  However, in both cases, the bowlers kept their composure and made a strong comeback. 

India will be looking to carry the momentum into this game and maintain their form to walk out of Sri Lanka with a white wash. 

Sri Lanka 

The Sri Lankan team has fought well against the T20 World Champions. However, even after playing good cricket, the home team has failed to cease the right moments and win the game. 

In both matches, Sri Lanka had a great momentum in the first 15 overs of their battiing innings. However, they suffered a collapse in both cases, and let the game slip away. Under their new leader, Charith Asalanka, the Sri Lankan team will be fighting for their prestidge in this game. They will be looking to put in their best display and prevent a white wash on thie home soil.
