In the IPL 2025 mega auction that was held in Jeddah recently, RCB came up with a smart strategy and did not let emotions get the better of them by bidding too high for a single player.

The Sri Lankan speedster played for Mumbai Indians in the 2024 IPL, and this time around, RCB have drafted him in. Over the years, one of the big problems for RCB has been their poor death bowling and Thushara surely can help solve it. He is known for his pin-point yorkers and is a genuine wicket-taker who can take the pitch out of the equation. RCB need exactly such kind of bowlers who can deliver on flat decks at home, and the Lankan could be a game-changer for them.
