The much-awaited IPL 2025 mega auction ended on Monday, November 26. The ten franchises are ready with their squads for IPL 2025 and spent over 639 crores to buy 184 players. 

Talking about three-time finalists, Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB), they too have done a decent job at the auction table and roped in several new stars such as Josh Hazlewood, Phil Salt, Tim David, and Krunal Pandya.

It is also a homecoming for Bhuvneshwar Kumar, who will add more value to the bowling unit. However, there was criticism all along as the fans were unhappy over a few decisions, such as leaving Will Jacks and not going after KL Rahul or Rishabh Pant.

Meanwhile, RCB's batting coach hand mentor, Dinesh Karthik, has broken his silence on their auction strategy and assured fans of a power-packed IPL 2025. He expressed his delight over the players bought in the last two days and remarked RCB as one of the strongest sides going into the next seasons of IPL. 

"Look to all the fans, RCB has defenitely got one of the strongest squads it's ever had. We have looked to get everything that RCB didn't have. A strong bowling unit, a batting that can be consistent and powerful throughout. There is not a single player that we have invested too heavily on. We have invested consistently around the batting order. And I feel when you look at that, it is one of the good aspects of RCB. Our aim is to go big and we will do everything we can to make sure that we do that and keep the fans happy," Karthik remarked.

Karthik, who featured for RCB till last year, has now joined the franchise as their batting coach and mentor for the upcoming season.
