The Indian team is currently in Australia for the all-important Border-Gavaskar Trophy. India came into the series with their back against the wall after getting whitewashed by New Zealand and they were expected to struggle in Australia. However, they turned the table dramatically in the opening Test and stunned the home to register a thumping win by 295 runs.

India were without Rohit Sharma in that Test and Jasprit Bumrah captained India with great swagger and skills and led from the front. Now, Rohit Sharma is back at helm and India have another big challenge coming up, a pink-ball Test at the Adelaide Oval. India are trying their best to prepare for the game, and are all set to play a two-day pink-ball practice match against Prime Ministers XI.

India Aim To Set Aside Horrors Of 36 All-Out

The game will be played at the Manuka Oval in Canberra starting from November 30. It will start at 9:10 AM IST and 2:40 PM Local Time and the game will help India in adjusting to the conditions they will get in a pink-ball Test. In the Day-Night Test, the pink-ball tends to seam and swing a lot under lights, especially during twilight and Indian batters need to work out a way to tackle that.

In India's last Pink-Ball Test in Australia during the 2020-21 BGT, India were bowled out for just 36 in the second innings after taking a first innings lead. So, they would be vary of the challenge and would be looking to put their best foot forward in the practice game. Also, Rohit Sharma is back, and as he did not play the first game, he would be itching to get some much-needed batting practice before the real action starts.
