The Women’s Asia Cup boasts a rich history of showcasing the best in Asian women’s cricket since its inception back in 2004. This prestigious tournament, now set to unfold its ninth chapter, sees India entering as the defending champions and the most successful team with seven titles.

The 2024 edition, set to be a T20I affair, promises thrilling competition with eight teams vying for the coveted title over 15 matches. These fixtures will encompass round-robin group stages followed by knockout matches, all set against the scenic backdrop of the Rangiri Dambulla International Cricket Stadium, a venue known for its dramatic finishes.

While defending champions Team India is clubbed with Nepal, United Arab Emirates and arch-rivals Pakistan in Group A; teams like Bangladesh, Malaysia, Thailand and hosts Sri Lanka round-up the Group B of the competition.
