Ishan Kishan, India's talented opener, may not be a regular in the national team, but he has consistently demonstrated his prowess when given the opportunity. 

One such remarkable feat is his record for the fastest double century in One-Day Internationals (ODIs). In 2022, Kishan achieved this milestone against Bangladesh in the third ODI match at Chattogram, scoring 200 runs off just 126 balls.

This impressive innings included nine sixes and 24 fours, making him the seventh batter to score a double ton in ODIs and the fourth Indian to do so, joining the likes of Sachin Tendulkar, Virender Sehwag, and Rohit Sharma.

Ishan's partnership with Virat Kohli yielded 290 runs, helping India secure a 227-run victory in the match. The left handed after achieving the milestone was visibly seen pumped up as he roared and danced with Virat Kohli.

Notably, Kishan's double century surpassed Chris Gayle's 138-ball record, set in 2015. This achievement showcases Kishan's potential and capabilities as a batsman. 

Although he has not been recently featured in international cricket, his performance in the IPL for Mumbai Indians has been below-par.
