'You Are Sitting In AC' - Mohammad Shami Mocks Interviewer After 5/51 Vs AUS

It was an unforgettable outing for Mohammad Shami at the Punjab Cricket Association Stadium, Mohali. As India crossed swords with Australia in the first ODI of the ongoing three-match series, Shami bowled like an unstoppable force, claiming a five-wicket haul.

Dismissing Mitchell Marsh, Steve Smith, Marcus Stoinis, Matthew Short and Sean Abbott; Shami single-handedly brought the Australian batting line-up on its knees, ending with the figures of 5-51 in his 10 overs.

While the pacer was on song with the ball in his hand, things did not change even after the innings ended.

Not in the literal sense, but Shami hit it out of the park during the post-innings interview, bringing his quirky side out while holding a mic in his hand.

"Were you feeling the heat today?" Harsha Bhogle asked Shami.

The fast bowler gave a humorous reply, saying how the team sweated it out on the ground, while the commentators have been doing their work from the air-conditioned commentary boxes.

"Yes probably, because you guys are sitting in the AC boxes, we were on the ground (laughs)," Shami replied.



Coming back to the match, India need 277 runs to win. For Australia, David Warner top-scored with 52 runs.
