Indian cricketer Shikhar Dhawan, known for his playful personality, recently took to social media to poke fun at his teammate Dinesh Karthik after the wicket-keeper shared a picture of himself on his Instagram, where he looked particularly stylish and well-groomed.

Dinesh Karthik, a veteran Indian wicket-keeper batter, recently announced his retirement from IPL after serving RCB for a few seasons. However, Karthik is exploring different avenues to embrace new chapters of his life.

Interestingly, Dinesh Karthik signed up with The Hundred 2024 edition to be an exclusive member of the commentary panel. For the same project, he is in the United Kingdom, where he clicked himself in a professional look highlighted by a blazer and turtleneck pullovers.

He posted those pictures on his Instagram handle and captioned it, "Hey Boss, taking a subway to work. Will be on time for my standup."

Meanwhile, Shikhar Dhawan, India's veteran opening batter, decided to pull Dinesh Karthik's leg by leaving a playful comment below the social media post.

Shikhar Dhawan wrote,

"Boss work pe gya thaa yaa photoshoot pe," which translates to "Were you at work or a photoshoot?"

The witty remark quickly caught the attention of fans, sparking laughter and making the post even more popular.

Notably, while Shikhar Dhawan is struggling to come back into the national side, Dinesh Karthik has made peace with his fate.

He is all set to move from international cricket to transition into a full-time franchise league cricketer. Karthik recently signed up for the SA20 league and will represent Paarl Royals from the 2025 season onwards.
