Jitesh Sharma, the hard-hitting Indian wicketkeeper batter has announced his engagement with Shalaka Makeshwar through his official Instagram handle. The cricketer got engaged on 8th of August and shared a heartwarming message where he claimed that both his partner and him have got their forever person.

The date of his marriage is still not clear, but it is surely a start of a new chapter in the cricketer's career and he would be hoping to make a flying start to it.


As far as Jitesh Sharma's cricketing career is concerned, he was last seen in action playing for Punjab Kings in IPL, and has even played for India in the past. His IPL season did not go well though and the likes of Rishabh Pant and Sanju Samson were selected over him despite Jitesh playing India's last bilateral series before the T20 World Cup.

Jitesh Sharma is most likely to play for Vidarbha in the domestic cricket and would be hoping that he makes his bat talk after the World Cup snub. It will also be interesting to see whether Punjab Kings retain him or not after a mediocre season, and he would be hoping that the lady luck changes his fortunes on the cricket field as well.
