In the last couple of days, tension between India and Pakistan rose to new heights which led to the suspension of IPL and PSL. Meanwhile, the overseas stars rushed for safety as several foreign players are looking for way out of the country.

Talking about the overseas stars stuck in Pakistan, they rushed for safety and travelled to Dubai. Meanwhile, in the latest events, Bangladesh's Rishad Hossain revealed that New Zealand star batter Daryl Mitchell was terrified by the ongoing events and remarked that he would never return to Pakistan.

“Foreign players like Sam Billings, Daryl Mitchell, Kushal Perera, David Wiese, Tom Curran… all of them were so frightened… Landing in Dubai, Mitchell told me that he would never go to Pakistan again, especially in this kind of scenario. Overall, they were all horrified,” said Rishad at Dubai Airport, as quoted by Cricbuzz.

Meanwhile, Rishad also remarked that England cricketer Tom Curran also had a difficult time as he broke into tears in this situation.

He also mentioned how difficult it was to console worried English cricketer Tom Curran, who started crying. “He (Tom Curran) went to the airport, but heard that the airport was closed. Then he started crying like a little child, that it took two or three people to handle him,” he added.

At present, the two nations have agreed for a cease-fire, but the leagues remain suspended. Talking about IPL, the governing body remarked that the cash-studded league has been suspended for a week and a decision of resuming it would be taken after a week's time.
