The Border-Gavaskar Trophy is all set to start on 22nd of November with the first Test match to be played at the Optus Stadium in Perth. It is a big-ticket encounter with plenty of stars to look forward to and it promises to be a cracking series. In the last Test series between Australia and India Down Under, it was Ajinkya Rahane's boys that emerged victorious and Rishabh Pant was the hero of the final Test win at Gabba.

The wicketkeeper batter is in great form this time around too, and excitement around him among the Aussies and Indian fans is increasing with each passing day. Now. ahead of the first Test, Ravindra Jadeja has opened up on how Rishabh Pant keeps the atmosphere of dressing room relaxed and makes everyone laugh with his antics. Jadeja was speaking on 7Cricket and emphasised that Rishabh Pant is a very exciting cricketer and is one of the best in the world.

The Indian all-rounder also hoped that Pant comes out with his best in the BGT and deliver match-winning performances.

"Whenever Pant is around in the team, he always makes everyone laugh - he is very exciting cricketer, he is one the best."

India Under Pressure Ahead Of Perth Test

India are coming into BGT on the back of a disappointing whitewash by the Kiwis at home. Their are selection issues too with Rohit Sharma, the regular skipper of the side unavailable for the opening Test. Shubman Gill is also ruled out due to injury, so India currently have lot of things going against them, and they would be hoping that big players like Ravindra Jadeja and Rishabh Pant step up in this series.

It is also an important series in terms of qualification for the WTC final, and it would be interesting to see how the Aussies go about their business after losing the last two Test series at home against India.
