The stage is set for the third and final T20I between Australia and Pakistan. The home team has already sealed the series by winning the initial two games and it is a chance for a young team under Josh Inglis to whitewash Pakistan. Rizwan and company, on the other hand, would be hoping to get their act together and end the tour on a high.

In both the T20Is so far, Pakistan's batting unit has faltered. The top order batters have not got runs and the intent has been missing as well. That is something they need to work on against a strong team like Australia. The last match was a close one with the pitch helping bowlers quite a lot and let's see how the surface will behave as the caravan moves to Bellerive Oval, Hobart.

Bellerive Pitch Report: Batters Or Bowlers, Who Will Be More Successful?

The surface at the Bellerive Oval has always produced good battle between bat and ball. The pitch tends to help the pacers early on but as the game progresses, it gets better to bat on. Still the average first innings total at the ground is 149 which means that bowlers are always in the game and any total around 160-170 is considered as a good one in Hobart.

Also, the toss has not made much of a difference in T20Is on this ground, as teams batting first and batting second both have won 9 games each. However, with pitch expected to ease out as the game progresses, the teams winning the toss would like to bowl first. The top five wicket-takers in T20s at this ground are all pacers and so they are likely to make more impact in this game with spinners likely to play a minimal role.

Players To Watch Out For At Bellerive Oval Hobart

Marcus Stoinis

Marcus Stoinis played a nice cameo of 21 from 7 balls in the first match and though he could not make much of an impact in the second game, he could be handy with his all-round skills in Hobart. He could get some help off the deck with the ball in hand and with the bat, he has the ability to soak the pressure as well as use the long handle when needed.

Haris Rauf

Haris Rauf has been the man in form on this whole tour and in the last game as well, he bagged a four-wicket haul. He has a lot of experience of bowling in Australian conditions and has varied his length and pace beautifully on this tour. With some help off the deck expected, Rauf is likely to make a big impact again.

Nathan Ellis

Bellerive Oval has been the home ground of Nathan Ellis in BBL for quite a long time. He has made his name in the Australian circuit through performances in BBL and with 35 wickets in 23 matches, Ellis exactly knows how to bowl at this venue. He has lot of variations at his disposal, and is a player to watch out in the third T20I.
