As India is preparing for the much-anticipated Border-Gavaskar Trophy, the team is all engaged in rigorous training session ahead of the first Test match in Perth. On Tuesday (November 19), India’s training session turned into a laughter riot when Sarfaraz Khan was seen taking an unconventional catch during the practice session.

While the team is gearing up for the series, Sarfaraz stole the show with a comical approach to take the catch that left Virat Kohli and Rishabh Pant in splits.

Kohli, Pant And Sarfaraz Share Light-Hearted Moment

A video circulating on social media captured the moment. In the clip, Sarfaraz Khan attempted a catch using an unorthodox style that mimicked the motion of swatting a mosquito.

His exaggerated yet surprisingly effective technique saw him complete the catch, which drew loud laughter from Virat Kohli. Meanwhile, Rishabh Pant was so entertained that he collapsed in laughter.

IND vs AUS 1st Test: India’s Selection Headache

With the much-awaited series knocking at the door, the team management is expected to face few new challenges ahead of the first Test. Stand-in captain Jasprit Bumrah will face significant trouble as Rohit Sharma and Shubman Gill are likely unavailable for the Perth Test. Rohit is absent for personal reasons, as he and his wife have welcomed their second child. On the other hand, Gill sustained a finger injury during a previous fielding drill.

So, looking at this situation, it is likely expected that KL Rahul will open the innings alongside young sensation Yashasvi Jaiswal. Virat Kohli will likely return to the crucial number three position. The middle order will likely feature Rishabh Pant and Dhruv Jurel, while Devdutt Padikkal might be slotted in based on the condition.
